OTTAA Project

This mobile app aims to serve as the communication tool that millions of individuals have required since birth or due to various unfortunate circumstances that hinder their ability to speak.

The OTTAA Project enables users to construct intricate sentences and have them vocalized by a digital voice. This is achieved through universal pictograms designed by ARASAAC, representing various actions or objects. Notably, the app employs a predictive algorithm to significantly expedite sentence creation, thereby enhancing individuals' quality of life and minimizing communication challenges.

The app leverages diverse data sources such as prediction streamlining, usage history, location, time of day, weather conditions, calendar information, smartphone sensors, among others.

OTTAA Project sets out to streamline pictogram selection to a concise yet precise set, reducing selection time and enabling the formation of more intricate and comprehensive sentences in approximately 7 seconds per sentence.

Its core objective is to facilitate the integration of the entire population struggling with speech impediments with minimal effort.

This app represents the pioneering effort of its kind originating from Latin America. Through OTTAA Project, individuals with speech impairments are one step closer to realizing their desired level of communication efficiency.
